01. Aluminum Formwork Design
When a project intends to use aluminum formwork, they first contact the aluminum formwork manufacturer and provide them with construction drawings. The aluminum formwork manufacturer's design team will prepare a project review report based on the building drawings. This report includes the applicable floors and the approximate area of the aluminum formwork. Once the partnership is established, the manufacturer's design team will begin detailed project work based on the construction drawings. The project owner will discuss the aluminum formwork construction methods and any issues with the construction drawings, and finalize the details by answering questions about the drawings. Once the detailed drawings and Q&A are finalized, the manufacturer can begin the layout design of the aluminum formwork. Generally, the 3D design and production materials are completed in about a week. This completes the aluminum formwork design.
02. Aluminum Formwork Production
Aluminum formwork has a service life of up to 200 cycles. Most standard-layer components can be reused after refurbishment. Therefore, project owners can choose to rent formwork to reduce costs, requiring only the non-standard-layer components specified in the drawings to be produced. This is a convenient and quick option. After simple processing, the aluminum raw materials have already taken on a specific shape, known as "profiles." Once delivered to the production department, Lifengda employees cut them into the required dimensions and punch out the connecting holes. Welding is then performed. Aluminum formwork such as C-shaped channels and U-shaped plates require further shaping. The finished aluminum formwork also requires surface treatment. The overly smooth surface of new formwork hinders electrostatic powder coating, so shot blasting is required to create a certain roughness.
03. Aluminum Formwork Pre-Assembly and Packaging
When aluminum formwork production is nearing completion, our pre-assembly department codes and labels each formwork. This eliminates the need for trial assembly when the formwork arrives at the construction site. After labeling, workers pre-install the necessary accessories on the aluminum formwork, neatly stack the prepared formwork, and pack it for loading. Before shipping by land, both parties will carefully count the aluminum formwork upon arrival at the site. Project owners must properly store aluminum formwork to prevent material shortages due to loss, resulting in construction delays and additional costs.
04. Aluminum Formwork After-Sales Service
Once a set of aluminum formwork is delivered to the construction site, our engineering team will visit the site to provide technical briefings and installation instructions. Our engineering team will remain available to provide guidance on any issues that arise during construction until the project is completed.
