Recently, the main structure of the Hui Haoting project, a super high-rise in the Philippines participated in by Tianqu Aluminum Formwork, was fully topped out, marking a significant milestone in the project's construction and ushering in a new phase of development.
Located in Manila, Philippines, the project boasts a total construction area of 110,500 square meters and a height of 193 meters. It is a comprehensive building integrating shopping malls and residential spaces, and it is the company's first super high-rise project in the Philippines. Upon completion, it will significantly enhance the overall location of Manila's Chinatown.
Overcoming Challenges and Leading in Performance
In the landscape of overseas construction projects, the Hui Haoting project in the Philippines, with its unique design, presented a new challenge to our technical team. The architectural structure of the project deviates from the conventional square shapes commonly seen in domestic designs, adopting an irregular design concept. Moreover, the design drawings were drafted by a foreign design institute. Faced with language barriers and differences in design concepts, our technical team, leveraging their professional expertise and tenacious spirit, innovatively adopted a full-process 3D model对接 approach. This method accurately transformed every detail and query in the deepening design process into visual drawings, ensuring that information was correctly conveyed to the general contractor, thereby laying a solid foundation for the subsequent production of aluminum formwork and on-site construction, and preventing structural issues from the source.
To further accelerate the on-site construction progress and ensure the smooth advancement of the project, our company specially dispatched an experienced designer to be stationed on-site for two months, overseeing and guiding the on-site assembly work. From drawings to physical structures, from design to construction, every step embodies the wisdom and sweat of our team. With professionalism and responsibility, we are writing an outstanding chapter in the field of construction engineering on foreign soil.

The project reaches up to 53 floors, with frequent structural changes between floors. The irregular shape and multiple structural alterations exponentially increased the difficulty of the formwork configuration. To tackle this challenge, our company quickly formed a task force composed of skilled personnel, focusing their efforts on the formwork configuration design. In the shipping and on-site packing stages, the team meticulously planned, dividing the work according to the structural sections of walls, beams, and ceilings, assigning a unique and clear number to each formwork piece, significantly enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of on-site assembly. Considering the complexity of changing formwork for varying layers, the designers ingeniously used color coding to differentiate the formwork materials required for each structural change, making it easy for on-site workers to quickly locate the needed materials, thereby significantly improving construction efficiency and propelling the construction process forward smoothly.
