Synchronous Construction of Structural Columns with the Main Structure
1. Process Overview: Following an in-depth design phase, aluminum formwork is used as the formwork system for both the structural columns and the main structure. During construction, the columns are treated as if they were the main structure "columns," with reinforcement tied and formwork installed. Finally, concrete pouring is stopped at a depth of 10mm from the bottom of the beam. The remaining portion is then filled with fine sand and covered with a layer of quick-close mesh to separate the columns from the main structure. This process reduces the need for secondary construction of the structural columns, eliminates the need for rebar planting, simplifies the process, reduces construction time, and improves the quality of the columns.

2. Scope of Application: This process is applicable to structural column construction in various projects, particularly those utilizing aluminum formwork.
3. Key points of the process:
3.1 Process flow: Deepening design → Measurement and layout → Binding and tying → Aluminum formwork installation → Concrete pouring to 10mm from the bottom of the beam → Filling with fine sand → Covering with quick-closing net → Maintenance and demoulding;
3.2 Key points:
(1) The location of the structural column should be determined in the detailed design to facilitate the subsequent synchronous construction;
(2) When tying the structural column reinforcement, the bottom reinforcement is pre-inserted during the floor slab construction, and the top reinforcement runs through the beam of the main structure to achieve no need for planting reinforcement;
(3) When the structural column is cast synchronously with the main structure, ensure that the structural column is cast to 10mm from the bottom of the beam, fill the bottom of the beam with fine sand, and cover the quick-closing net partition.
4. Benefit analysis The synchronous construction process of the structural column with the main structure reduces the construction steps of the structural column planting reinforcement, formwork support, pouring, etc. in the later stage. It is simple to operate, saves construction time, and has better forming quality of the structural column, which is conducive to early insertion into the masonry structure construction, and has positive significance for the construction deployment of the entire project.
