Small canopy design

The small canopy is located above each entrance and exit to prevent falling. It is made of 2.5mm double-layer aluminum veneer, 90×40×5 hot-dip galvanized steel square pipe, L50×5 hot-dip galvanized Angle steel, and a drip sink is set at the front end. In order to ensure its light texture, the steel pipe is directly used as support from the position of the door column, and the column is shared with the door, saving materials and solving the problem of column rooting. The canopy adopts free drainage, and puts 3% drainage slope outwardly (FIG. 11, FIG. 12).

In order to meet the visual needs of the canopy in the A, B and C areas of the first floor of the project, large-span structural design is adopted. The canopy of Zone B has a structure of 5.2m, and the size of a single aluminum plate at the door head is 2000×1500mm (see Figure 13).

 

As the maintenance structure of the entrance and exit, the flow of people at the entrance and exit is large, so the strength of the aluminum plate is particularly important. In order to meet the strength requirements, the thickness of the aluminum plate is 3mm, and the hot-dip galvanized steel square pipe of 60×120×5mm, 100×200×4mm, 60×60×5mm is used, and the stainless steel drainage tank of 3mm is set up to ensure the strength and drainage. The ceiling of the canopy is made of 2mm thick stainless steel plate, and all the aluminum alloy fixed parts are set with full length to ensure the flatness and safety of the canopy (FIG. 14, FIG. 15). The flatness control of the large-span aluminum plate is also very important, in order to control the flatness of the aluminum plate, the reinforcement behind the aluminum plate needs to be encrypted, and the spacing is less than 300mm, which not only ensures the flatness, but also improves the strength.

 

Since the canopy is designed with a large span and arc, the canopy needs to ensure continuity and smoothness. In the design, the project through the precision plate design, the plate separation transition smooth, improve the continuity of the aluminum plate, coupled with the long aluminum alloy fixed parts, but also to ensure the flatness of the canopy.

To sum up, in order to control the deformation of the aluminum curtain wall, it is necessary to set reinforcing bars, increase the thickness of the plate, strengthen the strength of the aluminum plate, and adopt a floating connection with the frame to eliminate the thermal stress deformation caused by assembly errors and temperature differences. Combined with scientific management methods, protection during transportation and protection of finished products on site. In short, the flatness of the building curtain wall does not only include the aluminum curtain wall. Any kind of plate needs to be strictly controlled in the design, construction, transportation, material selection and other links under the premise of meeting safety.
